Why should you check the grammar on your website and marketing materials?
Who really cares? Does anyone notice?
It these times of text-messaging, blogging, and short-hand lingo, my BFF is going MAD... LOL. Seriously, mad!
Every time, I speak with my colleague and friend, we get into a long, drawn out, bitch-session about the lack of society's respect for the English language! Especially on Television! OMG! CNN anchors are even getting into the act.
I actually heard a respected anchor use the term, "whole-nother"... ITS NOT A FREAKIN'WORD!!!!!!
That is my pet peeve. There are many, many more. Such as, My friend and me went to the store... I should have went..
Does anyone even see the problem?
HMMMM.... Don't EVEN get me started on spelling! I can't read some forums and blogs and sites AND newspapers because of glaring misspellings.
If you would like some help spiffing up your site or marketing materials, please call me! I will help you STOP the madness.
I will sic my friend on your website so fast... she will have you speaking proper English and winning the National Spelling Bee in no time!

If an HR manager would throw out and not consider a resume for typos, why wouldn't a company hold themselves to as high a standard?

If I am looking for info from an "expert" online, or if I'm considering making a purchase I need some persuasion to make, I become uncomfortable if the website information has tons of typos. It's like a red flag: how professional is this company or how seriously do they take their business?
